Dry Kilns

At Somerset, we have over 1.8 million board feet kiln capacity. After air drying, and prior to manufacturing, lumber is dried to exacting tolerances (strict tolerances of 6% to 8% moisture content) in our state-of-the-art computer-controlled kiln system. This is one of the most important quality-control areas of the manufacturing process, and one which we do not compromise.
